We just finished attending this Summit. We were curious about baseline for power management.
We have been working to collect data from the workstations and servers electrical consumption. Now having this data, how would we create a baseline report to present to senior management? What is the best way to calculate electrical data into affect of CO2? Are there any tools or template out there that can be used for this purpose?

You can start here (http://www.energystar.gov/ia/products/power_mgt/LowCarbonITSavingsCalc.xls) and input in the variables you have collected. This spread sheet will show you potential savings.

Just because you can't sleep on the job, doesn't mean your computer can't.
